Isn't that shade of pink just fantastic!

It only rivals the orange in the bathroom. :-)

Carpets in all the bedrooms were stained and filthy. The Master bedroom is such a great space with high ceilings and lots of light.

House #3 after....

Ahhhh, now that's better. Who needed that wall anyways.

Ooooh and what fabulous appliances! I love the double oven and the pull out drawer microwave.

Such a better view to a newly tiled fireplance.

I love the way that James and his dad transitioned from tile to hardwood, really framing the eat in kitchen area.

here are the pictures from in between the before and after....

No more orange bathroom. Isn't that better. We repurposed the existing sink, but put in tile floors and marble countertops.

James' Dad revamped the fireplace with some beautiful tile. And James installed hardwood floors into the entire house. They look so beautiful.

My favorite bathroom with the copper sink, waterfall faucet and dark chocolate walls. I would do it again in a second, it looked amazing.

The master bathroom, no more laminate floors, and new marble countertops.

But......after all that work we didn't get to move in to the new house. We put both houses on the market and this one sold first. We close on Feb 28th. We are disappointed not be able to live here, but feel blessed that in this kind of a housing market that we weren't stuck with two mortgages.

Sour...

Miles had so much fun trick or treating this year. Can you believe I didn't take any pictures with my camera...just my phone. Oops, maybe I'll get to upload them later. But I did take pictures of him eating a warhead. He was so excited to dig in....
oooo a little bit sour....
OK a LOT sour. But still loving it.

A recent cake I did for an army baby shower....

Two women, two genders, so two different diaper bags....notice the giant thumbprint on Lydia's cake. Miles walked down in the morning and tried to pick it up. Ooops! James said no one would notice. :)

Sunday Mornings...

Sunday mornings can be so hectic. James has early morning meetings and we try to pack snacks and the right equipment for a day at church. But my favorite part is dressing the boys. It's really the only day they wear an outfit. (and even then I'm not that great at it)
Here is Hudson in a great vest from kelly and dave...thanks guys, and some hand-across pants from his cousin Andrew.

and of course Miles "with a fake pout" in a shirt and tie....love that shaggy hair, James just told me the other day we needed to cut it, but I can't seem to pull the trigger.

Worker....

Miles has decided that he wants to be a "worker" when he grows up. We have construction happening all around us in the neighborhood and James and Miles like to sneak onto the construction sites to see what they are doing, or play in piles of dirt. James always tells him that they have to wait for the workers to go home.

Here is Miles practicing his skills. Yep, there is actually paint on that little roller. He did a great job helping Dad spruce up the posts out front. Hopefully it will help the house sell.

Miles loves Dad

Not too long ago life was all about Mom. Miles used to say...."no daddy, just mommy" well now the tune couldn't be more different. I think Miles has finally clued into the fact that Dad is a lot more fun than mom.....see
