Elephants....

I have been making cakes from home and to keep him busy during my latest project Miles got to play with the fondant with James

He finally ended up with a couple of elephants. (no he didn't make them himself, otherwise I would be putting him to work for me)

This is what I ended up with. It was for Victoria's baby shower. She is so sweet and it was a fun little project to make.

James is working on his form, right now the one handed swing isn't working too well.

Things are going well. We are all continuing to adjust to having a baby around, but everyday we get more and more used to it.

Egg hunt

Today we had some friends over and had a mini egg hunt in the back yard.

We were a little late with the camera and really caught the kids sorting their loot, and not so much hunting for eggs.

Its amazing how thrilled they can get over a couple jelly beans!

We were so lucky to have my sister Jen come stay with us for a week. She sacrificed her spring break (she teaches 6th grade) to come help us, and spend time with my boys. We did a lot of cooking while she was here and we blew out all the eggs in anticipation for Easter....

It hard work blowing out those eggs....I think this is the only one that Miles did, the rest was up to us.

It was all worth it in the end. He had such a blast dying all those eggs.

First Bath!

Hudson had his first bath at home this week. This picture makes me laugh at how Miles and I are both fake smiling and it looks so similar....we must have been in the middle of saying "cheese"

Hudson loved the bath! Miles never liked it....and really still doesn't, so this is just another way that Hudson is showing us he is different than his big bro.

Hudson's Blessing

We blessed Hudson on March 21st while my family was in town. We just snapped one quick photo since as you can see little Hudson was about to lose it!

 

My parents, brothers, and Jessica came out to visit and help us out with Miles and Hudson. Miles was so incredibly spoiled and couldn't get enough off all the attention he was getting. My parents had the fantastic idea of renting a beach house for the week so that James and I didn't have to do any cooking, cleaning, or feel like we were hosting at all. It was such a great vacation, and so wonderful to see my family. I love them so much and wish we all lived closer.

The pool at Hilton Head was about 96 degrees! Miles loved the giant hot tub and made everyone get in and out constantly. He had such a blast....I think we have a fish on our hands, just like his cousin Trace.
