Tommy looking super cute!

The oars....how fun did all those boys think those oars were. Miles just wanted to do anything and everything that Tommy and Carson were up to.

That ball got so much more interesting when someone else was playing with it.

Our Little Jedi.

Miles always likes to "help" me with the laundry. He really is just pulling everything out of the basket while I am trying to fold them. Its a little more hectic now that he is bigger. He was getting in and out of the basket and I was doing all I could to keep the things folded so I decided to put him in one of James' t-shirts (well to be honest its Dave Troutman's old t-shirt that he gave to James)

Who knew he would love it sooo much! He didn't want to take it off. It was pretty adorable in the end.

What Year Do You Belong In?

You Belong in 1957

You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!

I was really suprised...innocent? hmmmm, I don't know. But I do like the 50's so I guess I will go with it. I'd love to hear how others made out...

Friday Flashback!!!

A few years ago James and I took a trip across the pond to Paris and London. We had such an incredible time seeing in real life all the things we had only seen in movies. Paris is so beautiful, and romantic (as cliche' as that may sound)

Here we are in front of the Eiffel Tower. We took sooo many pictures like this, and still feel like none of them do it justice. It is really amazing.

Here you can see the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the distance. I don't know how often they do it, it is maybe every hour that is just lights up everywhere and sparkles. It is so beautiful.

The Louvre. I loved it, I love almost all museums, but I loved the Louvre. We wanted to see everything we could, so I knew I only had one day to go through it. The museum is so huge, I am sure that I missed a lot of amazing things. I would love to go back.

Notre Dame. We climbed to the top and saw the bell....no hunchback to be found.

You can see off in the distance the Arc de Triomphe, it sits opposing its modern counterpart.

here is the view from the top of the Arc de Triomphe down that same major street.

Up close and personal.

And here is its modern counterpart, up close and personal. It was such an interesting dynamic having the division within the city be so defined my its architecture.

I think it is 6 major roads that meet at the Arc de Triomphe and then have to circle around and get to where they want to go. The traffic was insane!!! I would just get stuck towards the middle and never make my way out!

Sushi Night!

James and I got to have a great night with our friends Katie and Bart on Sunday. We made our own sushi and stuffed ourselves silly. Everything was delicious and we had so much fun, but unfortunately I didn't bring my camera to show off our skills. So instead here is a picture of my little brother Joey and Scotty Barth eating sushi in La Jolla a few years ago. :)

Injury

Poor Miles had a major setback while we were in Texas. He was playing on a computer chair and it tipped over. He landed flat on his face and got a huge fat lip, and swollen nose. It took a long time for him to calm down, and it was hard to see if there was anything wrong with his teeth or gums since he was bleeding so much. I was a nervous wreck (of course) since James was telling me that he could lose his front teeth, or have broken his jaw or some other terrible, rather unlikely, outcome.

James was so convinced that his teeth looked crooked that we took pictures to compare the teeth to older pictures. So don't think we just thought this was a kodak moment. Miles is fine and no teeth have fallen out, so I think we are in good shape. I am sure there will be worse accidents to come....I am not looking forward to them.

Christina's Goodbye Dinner

Summer is over and our fabulous Christina is heading back to California. California, PA that is. It's so sad to see her go, but its always fun to have a reason to get together with friends.

Me, Elizabeth, Amy and Christina. We had so much fun. I was laughing so hard my cheeks hurt.

Leah and Jennelle. Thank goodness for good friends. We all need eachother to survive all the drama at the bakery. :)
