It's funny how so many places can feel like home. My house in Philadelphia feels like home, whenever I fly into La
Jolla it feels like home, the town of
Novato with the house I grew up in feels like home, and my parents house in Utah really feels like home. It's so warm and inviting, and completely relaxing. I love it! We were able to stay with my parents for a week. I had so much fun, I truly didn't want to leave. Miles was loving it too....he had tons of people to walk him around, and I really think he thought the Grandma and Grandpa lived at the park since there was a huge backyard just outside their door.

He didn't really like the grass too much if he had to crawl. It would even confine him to a blanket for a little while. But he
loved exploring everything, and would hit the ground running if you let him.

Miles' favorite thing the whole trip had to be Ginger. He loves dogs, and Ginger is not only the best dog ever, but he loves to lick. Miles
thought that was the greatest thing ever. He would just laugh and get so excited that this big ball of fluff was playing with him.

My parents and my sister Amy took Miles for the weekend while James and I went to a wedding. It was so great of them, because I know that my son is a handful, a very happy handful, but a handful none the less. Thank you so much for doing that, it was so fun to be on our own and made a trip to Boise so much easier! We love you all, and miss you already!
